**Day 1: Ayers Rock Airport to Uluru / Ayers Rock** Departing from Ayers Rock/Yulara (Uluru Airport) we join the tour group in Uluru before we head to the Red Centre's indigenous interpretive cultural centre where we have a chance to learn about the cultural, ecological, historical and geological significance of this very special national park. Get up close and personal with Uluru, the colossal monolith, as you embark on a base walk to the Mutitjulu waterhole, discovering sacred rock art sites and ancient creation stories. Embark on an invigorating hike through the awe-inspiring Valley of the Winds or Walpa Gorge, marveling at the mighty conglomerate rock formations. Conclude your exploration of Kata Tjuta, and head back to Yulara Airport to either meet your adjoining flight or back to Ayers Rock resort if you have booked an additional night's accommodation at any of the accommodation providers there.
